RS-60 is a nonionic microparticle silicone emulsion, an extremely stable smoothing agent. It is used in the general finishing or resin processing of various fabrics to prevent a decrease in fabric tensile strength, enhance the luster of fabric colors, and provide a high-quality smooth feel. It is also an excellent release agent.
This product differs from anionic emulsions. When used with weakly cationic napping agents, it will not cause aggregation. It is currently the most commonly used napping agent formulation. Mixed products do not separate or float on oil even after prolonged storage.
